El Niño Rey Ministry (Dominican Republic – Peravia)
El Niño Rey Ministry’s mission is to develop healthy families with access to education and employment opportunities across the province of Peravia. What began as a school—addressing literacy barriers that prevented children from entering local schools—has grown into a community-centered ministry that provides:

-
Education access for Dominican and Haitian children
-
Medical and dental support
-
Distribution of clothing, food, and medicine
-
Community advocacy and engagement with local government

In the wake of the pandemic, the ministry diverted resources to meet urgent health needs, temporarily slowing school expansion. The need remains—and so does the vision: rebuild capacity, expand enrollment, and restore education pathways for children and families.

Impact Priorities
LPAC’s Urban & International Missions Collaboratives prioritize measurable, family-centered outcomes:

-
Increased access to early learning and school readiness
-
Improved youth engagement, safety, and leadership development
-
Strengthened parenting capacity and women’s economic resilience
-
Expanded community health supports and material stability
-
Sustainable infrastructure for year-round service delivery
